A quiet pool in Tel Dan

Tel Dan in the far North of Israel is a place of fast running water, rapids and spray but not entirely. This picture shows a pool in the section called The Garden of Eden because of the quiet pools and dense foliage. The sun illuminates the crystal clear water in an image of peace and tranquility.

Migdal David and the Jaffa Gate at Night

The beautifully serene and majestic walls of the Old City of Jerusalem lit up at night. This picture shows the view from Malon Har Zion towards the Citadel of Migdal David and the Jaffa Gate.

Forest at Nes Harim

All the Jerusalem hills are covered with trees whether it is natural Mediterranean brush or planted coniferous forest. This picture shows a springtime scene in the forest at Nes Harim.

Waterfall

This painting was inspired by the painting "Torrent" by Sophie Eynon, a print of which hangs in one of the corridors in the offices where I work. It shows the base of the Banias waterfall as the torrent of water falls from the height of several meters into the deep plunge pool.

Waves at Habonim Beach

Waves crash to the shore at the Habonim Beach near Zikhron Yaakov. Habonim Beach is a nature reserve consisting of a series of coves, each different but sharing the same beautiful sea and a rugged sealine. Going out from the shore is a shelf of rock which we see in the picture as the waves crash against and roll over it.

Mapal Saar Waterfall

Mapal Saar is in the Upper Golan and is Israel's highest waterfall. In the winter the river becomes swollen with rain runoff from the Hermon an the waterfall becomes a torrent of brown water washing sediments down-river. This picture is based on a photograph I took in February after rain and shows vividly the amazing waterflow in this beautiful place.
