For most of the year, Mount Hermon is covered or at least capped by snow. However at the end of the long summer all the snow has long melted and the mountain stands bare in all its majesty. Mt Hermon is Israel's tallest mountain and lies on the point that joins the borders of Israel, Syria and Lebanon.
